I loved catching this Marin County, CA home in the latest edition of Coastal Living in all its holiday splendor. This Belvedere Island waterfront property was bought by the Milan family in a state best described as mishmash Brady Bunch hippie hideaway. Well, Milan family, I love what you've done with the place! Photos by Dominique Vorillon.
The Milan's cattle dog Frannie is the first to greet you at the holly draped doorway.
Ginna Milan is responsible for the whole of the make-over. She went with a cornflower blue to compliment the white baseboards and moldings.
The paint color is Walls in Sea Reflections by Benjamin Moore.
Great coffee table!
The kitchen opens up to the dock via folding windows hinged and mounted on a sliding track. Now if I had a kitchen like this, I would pretend like I was cooking lobster for a dreamy New Englander in a thick knitted sweater.
Bedrooms within the house keep to a cottage aesthetic with white slipcovers and muted toned carpet.
The dining room chairs are upholstered in vinyl making them easy to clean. The walls are Silhouette by Benjamin Moore, beautiful! And JaDIE for that mirror!
An outdoor fireplace makes their back deck the perfect place for winter S'mores. Sea lions frequently stop by for a visit. That would be so incredible!
