Move Over Grace Kelly

If you thought the wedding of the year was going to be Prince William and Kate Middleton's, you obviously haven't been watching Big Fat Gypsy Weddings on Channel 4 in the UK. This amazing show will document Irish Traveller weddings, Holy Communions, and the like and I am about to buy a ticket across the pond just so I can catch a glimpse of this soon to be treasured cinematic masterpiece.

Photos by Sam Frost

Considered a dress rehearsal for her wedding day, a gypsy girl's First Holy Communion isn't far off from her nuptials as most Travellers are married between 14 and 16 years of age.

Tiara's are not just for Toddler's in the UK.

Bride Sam and her Groom Patrick Lee pose in front of their magic carriage.

Nothing says delicate like black and pink corsets.

Not to be outdone, bride Sam Norton demonstrates that the bigger the dress the better the wedding.

Special thanks to KT and Meg at Pigtown for the head's up.

Such beauty and elegance of Bride Bridget and her court of maids.

Dreamy....

Departures is one of my favorite magazines for the advertisements alone. This photo for the Taj Falaknuma Palace Hotel took my breath away. So gorgeous..makes me want to run off to India or Cape Town or Bhutan and get married again.

Hot Mess Monday

As much as I didn't want to post this frightening image, here it is. I'm sorry. I know your retnas are burning in revolt of a translucent shirt worn by any man anytime after the year 1998 or in the cinematic masterpiece, "A Night at the Roxbury". Who trusts this man with a scalpel? I want names.

My Latest Obsession: Nellie's All Natural Products

Over the holidays I picked up some of Nellie's All Natural Products from Crate and Barrel and they have not only proven to be great environmental alternatives to laundry, they put a smile on my face every time I look at their to-die-for retro packaging.

Anyone who knows me knows I take ridiculous pride in my laundry (I've even been known to iron a towel or two, and called The Black Swan but that is neither here nor there) so when I spied this in the store, I was immediately interested to find out more. The cuteness overload little tin with this wholesome smile and wave from Nellie herself was the hook that reeled me in. The fact that the powder was able to be used in my front loading high efficiency washer sealed the deal. For under $18, it promises 100 loads with the tiniest scoop of the fresh smelling laundry soda. And so far, my laundry has looked and felt GREAT!

There is also a guarantee my this handsome Boston Terrier that you will love Nellie's!
You can't beat that!

The dryer balls eliminate the harsh chemicals in dryer sheets and liquid fabric softener and guarantee to fluff up your clothes and linens for over 200 loads. The product instructions came in the form of this fun cartoon on the back of their biodegradable packaging. I can't wait to come across more of Nellie's All Natural Products, I hear they do dishes too! Yes please!

Nellie's is sold in limited locations at the moment, but you can order their products online as well. To find out more about Nellie's All Natural Products, visit their equally adorable website HERE.

It's Too Good

I have to admit, I was never really a fan of Josh Groban, I know you are all extremely shocked. Music aside, I thought he was a total douche and I was like WTF when all the gossip channels interviewed HIM about the passing of our friend Adam Goldstein. But forget all that shizz. This stint on Jimmy Kimmel has redeemed him in every way possible. It brought me back to the day I realized that Chad Rogers is cool. Thumbs up Josh Groban!

Happy Birthday to ME!

Another year older, but definitely better! My best present by far was waking up to my husband giving me a kiss this morning, but I must say I am really looking forward to the delivery of my new Borghese Lingerie Chest! I plan on using it to house my vast collection of jewelry and such, so it is definitely going to be put to good use. I also treated myself to a month's membership at FBE Spa here in Los Angeles. I have heard so many good things about them, especially the infrared sauna with jade stones and power plate vibration machines! I can't wait to get started this weekend. YAY!

Happy New Year

Well, it has been a busy holiday season for me, as I have been trying to teach Bad Girl to clean my house like this little Boston Terrier. She is not really picking it up the way I had hoped.

Regardless, I hope everyone had a fantastic New Year's and I will be back in action tomorrow with (hopefully) regular posts of glamorous things! Best to everyone in 2011!
